Keemun
 
Keemun Tea originates Keemun, China, having been created after Yu Ganchen learnt about making black tea whilst in the Fujian Province of China.
Although technically a black tea, the Chinese consider Keemun a red tea.
It has been widely consumed throughout Europe and is considered by many to be the finest of black teas with its floral aroma, rich burgundy colouring and sweet smokiness. Keemun is also used in the blending of teas including English Breakfast and Prince of Wales tea.
Keemun has smaller leaves and is lower in tannins than Ceylon or Indian black teas.
