This "Assam Banaspaty Tea" originates in the tropical north east of India (the world's largest tea growing region) where the high humidity of the region is said to create one of the finest black teas in the world.
It is a full bodied tea with notes of malt and honey giving a natural sweetness with a dark reddish brown colour when brewed. It is a larger leaf tea making it more aromatic and lower in tannins.
Assam tea is full of antioxidants, has a great taste and promotes a healthy immune system and relieves tension.
This tea is refreshing as a black tea and is also delicious with milk.
